| this is not a question, but it is info as i have an md1 that i wired for my old ts430s after my mc50 had bought the farm in a fall. it worked well with the 430, but when i got my 2000 i tried it and ran the mic gain in the radio to high and people still had trouble hearing me. i did not put the processor on, but i content one shouldn't have to run a processor to be heard so the mic's output is too low to use on the 2000 without further amplification. the supplied hand mic works great on low. anybody know of other mics used on the 2000 they have had good luck with without the need for further amplification just for the record? |
