| Sounds like you are getting R.F. back into the rig. Is the rig grounded? How far away is the ladder line? Probably when the s.w.r is higher, the problem goes away because you have less output power to the ladder line. When the s.w.r is good, you have more power output and in turn is getting back into rig. Try to keep the ladder line as far away from rig as possible. Ground the rig and tuner. Try a different length of coax between the rig and tuner. Also, be careful of the power supply DC leads. Tom |
