| Thanks for your reply Tom. OK about the dummy load.Yes it's into a 50 ohm dummy load. Actual max currents are 80=9amps, 40=7amps 20=4.5amps 15=3 to 4amps. I have tried it on the air with a long wire about 100feet long using an mfj 901b ATU and I get the same results! The ant. is radiating cos I have had some contacts on 40 but for a 599 from the UK I'm getting 559 ie qrp reports. Have just aquired this rig. If I can provide more info please quiz me. 73's Raymond |
