I have a Heathkit TC-2 tube tester built in 1957 in very good condition, cosmetic and working. The solder inside is still shiney. It comes with the manual and supliment for tubes not covered in the manual and has the CRT test harness. I would like to trade it for a older (late 70s to early 80s) 2 meter radio that does FM and SSB. It does not have to be anything special. I might also sell it outright. Make me an offer. Proven 1960s design with make a great addition to any ham receiver from the tube era. Or make your own solid state version.
This is an adjustable 250 Hz wide filter. Requires two tubes,
6AK5 and 12AX7 and uses 150V DC, 6.3V AC but no i.f. transformers or coils. Just a few resistors and caps, and two 30 pF trimmers. (also available)
The partial kit consists of two new crystals and the instructions plus a schematic.
